If anyone has read my last post, then you would know that I went to Chelsea Market. It’s a pretty big place and there was a lot to see but for my next couple posts, I will be going through the places that I was able to get to while I was there. The first place that we went to was Posman Books. If anyone is a lover of books, than you probably know that the first place that we look for when we are in another city or country, is book stores for new reading material. This book store was in a small space but had a variety of good books. I actually got #Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso (good read I definitely recommend it!).
It was pretty crowded and had a lot of travel books, that are at the top of my list to buy. The fact of the matter is that if you are traveling, then you have to find something to do to relax the mind at the end of the day. My go to at night is to read, so that I can relax and get some sleep. It’s also a great way to figure out where you want to go and what you want to do on any future trips. For example when I was in Costa Rica I wanted to go to the monkey beach. Which I had read in a travel book, not only that but a lot of pamphlets, and blogs also recommended it as well. I love the information that you can get because if it was up to me I would have never known.
So if your up for some books this is a good place to find some. I like smaller book stores because you take a good look around and figure out what you want. Bigger book stores are very overwhelming, since there are so many choices. My wallet can’t handle my spontaneous book binges (but I do it any way). This one specifically has a good many books on travel if anyone is interested. I will leave a link for anyone that wants to take a look at the website.
